What LaunchTracker stores

LaunchTracker stores the minimum data needed to run your account and sync your tracker. We do not sell your data, rent it, use it for advertising or browse through your tracker for commercial research.

• Account sign-in information, such as the email address used with Google or a secure email link.
• Tracker content you create, including projects, sites, URLs, descriptions, statuses, priorities, notes and dates.
• App preferences such as selected project, view mode, filters and sorting.
• Technical data needed to keep sign-in and cloud sync working.

How we use data

We use your data to provide the LaunchTracker app, manage account access, sync your tracker across sessions, restore deleted sites, export backups and respond to support or privacy requests.

We do not use your tracker content to profile you, sell leads or build advertising audiences. LaunchTracker does not automatically submit your project to third-party launch platforms.

Free access and newsletter

If you sign up for updates, you may receive a LaunchTracker or Gear Takes email newsletter, usually no more than once per week. You can unsubscribe from that newsletter at any time.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not automatically delete your LaunchTracker account. For account or data deletion requests, email franck@geartakes.com.

Account checks

We do not manually browse accounts without a reason. Automated checks may flag words, URLs or patterns linked to prohibited uses such as adult content, gambling, spam, illegal content or unrelated bookmarking.

If an account is flagged, it may be manually reviewed to decide whether it is being used within LaunchTracker's intended purpose.

LaunchTracker is meant for startup, product and project launch tracking. It is not intended for adult content, gambling, illegal content, spam, general bookmarking or unrelated link collections.

Service providers

LaunchTracker uses Google sign-in for authentication, Supabase for cloud database and authentication services, and hosting infrastructure to serve the app. These providers process data only as needed to run the service.

Cookies and local storage

LaunchTracker uses authentication storage and browser storage for login sessions, local migration prompts, app preferences and, where applicable, local tracker data. LaunchTracker does not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can export your tracker data from Backup. You can also request access, correction or deletion of account data by emailing franck@geartakes.com.

Changes

This policy may be updated as LaunchTracker changes. The current version is the one published on this page.
